Ukrainian election fraud protest rally
November 23, 2004 — Warren, MI
About the event
After massive violations were reported in the Ukrainian Presidential runoff election of 2004, huge wave of protests surged all over the country and in Ukrainian communities worldwide. Warren, Michigan is home to a large number of Ukrainian families, who took part in the rally lead by the New Wave organization.

People are wearing orange ribbons — the colors of the wronged presidential candidate.
The mottos assert the victory of Victor Yuschenko, defy Russian President Putin, and ask for support from the US.
Natalia Yarova, the president of New Wave, reads the latest news to the protesters.
Oksana Pikush (in orange vest) leads the crowd in chanting fraud-defying slogans.
Rally participants as seen from the roof of St. Josaphat Banquet Centre.
The protest was truly a wide-range one.
